There was a time when our lives felt more like maintenance than momentum. We had a sprawling 7.5-acre property, a large home, and enough lawn equipment to run a landscaping company. It felt like we were constantly juggling a dozen tasks: Taking care of our clients, trying to grow in our careers, mowing, trimming, fixing, cleaning, tending to family, etc.
No matter how hard we worked, there never seemed to be enough time for anything. We were busy, but never truly productive. Our energy went into responsibilities, obligations, upkeep - not growth. We were maintaining, at the expense of our health and our dreams.
Then, we had a realization, a true turning point, after another long day of raking leaves: What if we just focused on what we actually needed, instead of managing what we had?
So, we made a bold decision. We downsized, and not too long after that we relocated to a milder climate, where we truly wanted to live, and where we could focus on building a better quality of life, together with our boy Buster (our Bernedoodle pup), who joined us about 6 months after our move to North Carolina. Simplifying our lifestyle and changing our surroundings was the best thing we could have done, for both, our mental and physical health.
The impact was immediate and profound. Our productivity levels shot up. Our mindsets shifted from maintenance mode to growth mode. We had clarity, focus, and a renewed sense of purpose. This allowed us to pursue our professional dream, building Svolta Marketing Solutions™.
